Artist Statement

Red means courage and passion. A pair of red gloves is a gift I would like to give to my protagonist, to encourage her to face the unexpected adventure bravely. I was inspired by my dog's paw. As my protagonist needs to walk on her hands for a long journey, she needs strong support from the glove's construction. So I added soft paddy on the fabric glove, like my dog. One day she will not need to wear gloves, because she will be ready to walk on her feet. The red glove is a metaphor: have the courage to explore the unknown.
